We now have plans to organize more free tech workshops in 2023 to increase capacity, develop soft skills, and launch careers in STEM.
Our goal is to offer participants a whole month of transformative free tech skills.
Additionally, we intend to conduct an inclusive hackathon that encourages innovation, problem-solving, and exposes participants to new opportunities.
We want to inspire, challenge, and spark the creation of ground-breaking solutions that transform society by bringing like-minded people together.

On the weekends in September, HackforNaija is providing a month of FREE tech skills workshops. Tech professionals from a variety of companies and countries volunteered their time to this cause as workshop facilitators.
The free tech workshops are intended to increase capacity, develop soft skills, and launch careers in STEM while addressing pressing local issues.
The initiative also includes participants getting hands-on help with their resume, LinkedIn profiles, GitHub profiles, how to prepare for whiteboard interviews, practice Data Structures and Algorithms, and leverage the tools to structure their daily job hunt, a capstone project for their portfolio and a chance to participate in a hackathon so recruiters can see the best our participants have to offer.

3. Access to a computer with a stable internet connection for the duration of the programme

Florence Atunwa Olumodimu is a Tech Project Manager and Marketing Communications Consultant. She is also a personal branding consultant, digital marketing strategist, speaker and trainer who has been involved in digital transformation and capacity development for close to a decade.
She has over 20 years’ experience in integrated marketing communications, brand management, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and project management, across various industries – specifically FMCG, banking and Information & Communications Technology (ICT).
Florence has worked with various audiences including youth, women, SMEs, schools, government parastatals, and international institutions to mention a few, working primarily on projects that build brands plus have social impact and relevance.
